For building and household insurance, premiums and acceptance standards are generally based on the characteristics and location of the property to be insured. In practice, the client has to answer a number of relevant questions, and, sometimes, a visual inspection by the consultant is also required. For online customer service this is actually not so handy.

In collaboration with information services provider, Infofolio, this process can be greatly simplified. Public data and proven formulas can be cleverly combined and, based on the postcode and house number, a unique rebuild and inventory value can be determined.
